CM Revanth Directs Officials to Prepare Child Online Safety Framework at NALSA South Zone Conference

A comprehensive Child Online Safety Framework will be prepared to ensure children’s online safety, with Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy directing the concerned departments to formulate it in consultation with the Telangana High Court and Telangana State Legal Services Authority (TGS-LSA). He called for coordinated measures to prevent cybercrimes against children, protect them and ensure justice for child victims.

Speaking at the South Zone Regional Conference in Hyderabad under the aegis of NALSA, the Chief Minister highlighted the need to create greater awareness about online risks as children spend increasing time on the internet. The conference focused on preventing online sexual exploitation and strengthening child-friendly justice and protection.

The Chief Minister said protecting women and children is a top priority of the Telangana Government. Bharosa Centres, Child Protection Units, special courts, SHE-Bharosa Cyber Labs and the CybHER app are providing protection, legal assistance and awareness. More than 3,000 Child Protection Officers have been trained so far.

He said justice for child victims also means restoring dignity and rebuilding their lives. He called on parents to actively support children’s online safety and advised them to remember 1930 for cybercrimes and 1098 for the Child Helpline.

The programme was attended by NALSA Executive Chairman and Supreme Court Judge Justice Vikram Nath, Supreme Court Judges Justice P.S. Narasimha, Justice R. Mahadevan and Justice Alok Aradhe, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Telangana High Court Chief Justice Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, Chief Justices and Judges of various High Courts, senior officials and former judges.

పిల్లల ఆన్‌లైన్‌ భద్రత కోసం సమగ్ర విధానాన్ని రూపొందించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి గారు సంబంధిత శాఖలను ఆదేశించారు. తెలంగాణ హైకోర్టు, తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర న్యాయ సేవల ప్రాధికార సంస్థ (TGS-LSA)తో సంప్రదింపులు జరిపి ఈ విధానాన్ని రూపొందించాలని, పిల్లలపై సైబర్‌ నేరాలను అరికట్టడం, వారిని రక్షించడం, బాధిత పిల్లలకు న్యాయం అందేలా సమన్వయంతో చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని సూచించారు.

హైదరాబాద్‌లో NALSA ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరుగుతున్న దక్షిణ మండల ప్రాంతీయ సదస్సులో ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు ఈ సూచనలు చేశారు. పిల్లలు ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో ఎక్కువ సమయం గడుపుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో ఇంటర్నెట్‌లో ఎదురయ్యే ప్రమాదాలపై అవగాహన కల్పించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందన్నారు. ఆన్‌లైన్‌ లైంగిక దోపిడీని అరికట్టడం, పిల్లలకు అనుకూలమైన న్యాయ వ్యవస్థ, రక్షణను బలోపేతం చేయడమే సదస్సు ప్రధాన ఉద్దేశమన్నారు.

మహిళలు, పిల్లల రక్షణకు ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు తెలిపారు. భరోసా కేంద్రాలు, బాలల రక్షణ విభాగాలు, ప్రత్యేక న్యాయస్థానాలు, షీ-భరోసా సైబర్‌ ల్యాబ్‌లు, CybHER యాప్‌ ద్వారా రక్షణ, న్యాయ సహాయం, అవగాహన కల్పిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. ఇప్పటివరకు 3,000 మందికి పైగా బాలల రక్షణ అధికారులకు శిక్షణ ఇచ్చినట్లు తెలిపారు.

బాధిత పిల్లలకు న్యాయం అంటే నిందితులను శిక్షించడంతో పాటు వారి గౌరవాన్ని కాపాడటం, జీవితాన్ని తిరిగి చక్కదిద్దడం కూడా అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు అన్నారు. పిల్లల ఆన్‌లైన్‌ భద్రతలో తల్లిదండ్రులు కూడా భాగస్వాములు కావాలని సూచించారు. సైబర్‌ నేరాల కోసం 1930, బాలల సహాయవాణి కోసం 1098 నంబర్లను గుర్తుంచుకోవాలని కోరారు.
