The Pine Forest Range, in Nevada’s Great Basin, has over 600 miles of trails covering 8,900 acres. You might not be familiar with this area, it isn’t someplace you drive past on the freeway, you have to seek it out. When you do so you will be rewarded with lakes and streams filled with trout, amazing views, and wildlife including antelope, mule deer, bighorn sheep, pika, chuckar, and mountain lions in addition to many raptorial and songbird species.

In this video we are not only going to share what to do in the Pine Forest, but also how to get there, the best times to visit, what to bring, and everything else you need to know to have a wonderful time during your visit. If you are new to OHVs, you might want to start by taking the Nevada OHV Online Safety Course, this is sponsored by Nevada Outdoor School and funded in part by the NV OHV Commission and your OHV registration dollars.
