A lot of Zimbabweans coming back from South Africa and the diaspora think going rural means giving up their income. It doesn't — and we're living proof.

In this video, we show you our actual off-grid work-from-home setup: solar power, water, and Starlink internet (now fully legal in Zimbabwe!) all working together to make remote work possible from rural land. We break down the real advantages, the real challenges, and what kind of work actually fits this lifestyle.

Spoiler: yes, a chicken really did walk past the laptop mid-work.
