If you own a business, most people around you are using AI wrong. Here is how to use AI so it works like staff, not a search bar.

In my experience roughly 90% of business owners have a search engine relationship with AI. Open it, type a question, read the answer, close it. That caps everything the tool can do at the level of a question.

The shift is one sentence. It is not a chatbot. It is an employee.

What that changes: you stop going to it with questions and start giving it jobs. It holds a role. It produces whether or not you remembered to ask.

How to use AI properly is not about better questions. It is about handing over work.

Agents, virtual assistants, AI employees, whatever term you prefer. The point is a role in the business rather than a tab in the browser.

The test: is AI doing something for your business right now? If it only moves when you initiate, you have a chatbot.
