Explore the possibilities with the Fish Audio MCP! https://fish.audio/?aff=N663WYB3OUL3Q
I built a real-time AI avatar app that lets you turn a photo into a live character with its own voice, personality, knowledge, and behavior.
In this video, I demonstrate the finished app and show how I used Claude Code, the Fish Audio MCP and API, and LemonSlice to bring it to life. These are not prerecorded avatar videos or static chatbot images. You can speak to the character in real time, and it responds with animated facial movement, lip sync, gestures, and a custom AI voice.
The app includes voice cloning, voice design, reusable character presets, personality controls, document-based knowledge, body-language settings, and support for multiple custom avatars. You could use it to create an AI coach, virtual spokesperson, customer-support character, game companion, educational guide, or comedy personality.
This project started as an experiment with the Fish Audio MCP and quickly became a much larger AI-assisted development project. It is a good example of how tools like Claude Code can help creators build real, working applications without approaching the process like traditional software development.
