Hi, I’m Ash, and welcome to my channel.

This week, work continues on the garden at our nearly 200-year-old Grade II* listed London home, and it’s finally starting to come together.

I’m painting the new traditional trellis that will eventually run around the garden, we’re reinstating a brick boundary wall that was removed years ago, and slowly beginning to put back some of the character that feels right for the house.

There’s still an enormous amount to do before the garden looks anything like the plans, but these are the details that are finally starting to change how the whole space feels.

I’m also heading to Paris for 24 hours, before coming back home where Chad and I sit down to answer some of your questions about the house, the renovation, what we’ve learnt so far and what’s still to come.

As ever, it’s a bit of everything this week: old bricks, lots of paint, a trip to Paris and probably more discussion about this house than either of us intended.

If you love period homes, British interiors, antiques, traditional decorating, gardening and following the reality of restoring an old house, I’d love for you to subscribe and follow along.
