New episode; Sakineh's bitter wait for news of Shahab

Early in the morning, Sakineh was still busy thinking about Shahab when the landlord came home. He brought Sakineh bread and prepared tea for him so that he might feel a little better; but the worry and longing for Shahab did not allow Sakineh to be calm.

Sakineh called Saham and asked with concern: "No news of Shahab?" Saham said that she had not stopped searching and was looking everywhere for news of Shahab, but so far no clues had been found. These words hurt Sakineh even more.

After talking about Shahab, Sakineh went to do the housework and asked Saham: "So when will the master come to paint the roof of the house?" Saham said that she would go and follow up on the matter herself. Sakineh also started preparing lunch to take her mind off her worries.

She prepared lunch and also brought food for the landlord and Shahab's father. A little later, Hassan came home and looked for Shahab. Sakineh sadly said that there was still no news from him. Hassan said goodbye to Sakineh after talking to him and left.

Sakineh, however, got busy working again. She made cement and poured the tiles and did the housework with her own hands. Perhaps working was a way for her to get away from Shahab for a few moments; but every corner of the house reminded her of the days when Shahab was by her side.

Despite all her tiredness, Sakineh still hopes that one day good news will come from Shahab and that she will hear his voice again. The wait for Shahab continues and no one knows what the end of this waiting will be...
