In this video, we take a detailed look at the Seeed Studio reTerminal E1001 - a ready-to-use 7.5-inch e-paper display with a built-in battery, sensors, and physical buttons.

We'll get acquainted with the default SenseCraft platform, then install ESPHome, connect the device to Home Assistant, and turn it into a full-featured information dashboard for a smart home.

In the practical section, we'll display real-time data from a three-phase inverter, grid status, load, battery charge, and power for each individual phase. We'll also create a second page showing the outdoor weather and the temperature in several rooms. The white buttons will switch between pages, while the green button will trigger a manual screen refresh.

We'll also cover generating and importing the YAML configuration, adding secrets, flashing the device, connecting it to Home Assistant, and sending data from existing entities to ESPHome.
