When do you graduate?
Unemployment for recent graduates is at 5%, up from about 3% five years ago. The NY Fed is now saying it’s actually work-from-home causing the increase, not AI. That’s because with more experienced workers choosing to wfh, there’s less knowledge share happening for younger workers.
This is what makes it even more important to come out of college with experience working with teams and building your technical and soft skills.
