Looking for a high quality bushcraft knife without spending hundreds of dollars?

In this video I take a close look at the SlicKnives Kepper 5, a fixed blade designed by SlicKnives and manufactured by Cudeman in Spain. After several months of hard use including batoning, feather sticks, trap carving, camp chores, and fire preparation I’m convinced this may be one of the best values currently available in the bushcraft and wilderness survival world.

The Kepper 5 features:

• 14C28N stainless steel
• Full tang construction
• Micarta handle scales
• 90-degree spine for ferro rod use
• Quality leather sheath
• Excellent fit and finish
• Under $100 price point

This isn’t a first impressions video. I’ve carried and used this knife extensively before sharing my thoughts, and in this review I’ll explain why I believe it competes with knives costing considerably more.

What do you think is the best bushcraft knife under $100? Let me know in the comments.
