I spent some time fixing my email assistant. It kept writing generic drafts and the annoying part is you tweak the prompt, it feels better, but you can't tell if it really is.

Braintrust solves that. All you have to do is set up a few test cases, make your change, and then it scores the new output against the old across all of them.

I changed a few lines in my code, reran the test, and could actually see the improvement instead of guessing.

The tone was fixed, placeholders filled and everything was working as it should.
